Online retailer Amazon.com has launched their latest promotion to clean out Blu-ray Disc stock in anticipation of a flurry of new titles due throughout the remainder of the year.
From now through June 9, Amazon has slashed the price of 116 Blu-ray Disc titles by up to 50% off list price.
Leading the charge in this summer blowout sale are a number of high profile titles including the 5-disc Blade Runner Director’s Cut set, 300, Hellboy, The Fifth Element, Independence Day, I Robot, The Terminator, Weeds: Season Two, and Bram Stoker’s Dracula (browse and shop all 116 titles).
On June 2-6, Amazon will be running “High Definition Week” in their Gold Box with promotions geared towards Father’s Day and graduation. We’ll provide more details as June 2 draws closer.
