Some great Blu-ray deals have popped up at Amazon.com as the fall movie season officially gets underway.
In support of this past weekend’s theatrical debut of Resident Evil: Afterlife, Amazon has slashed the price of the Resident Evil Trilogy on Blu-ray Disc to $24.99. That’s a little over $8 per movie for Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Resident Evil: Extinction. It’s a hot seller already having climbed to the second spot on Amazon’s hourly Blu-ray bestsellers chart.
Another film on the move up Amazon’s chart is Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight on Blu-ray. The record-breaking film in high-def is priced at a mere $8.99 right now, an absolute steal for new Blu-ray adopters looking to add some quality titles to their collection. The IMAX scenes are worth the price of admission alone.
Lastly, Joss Whedon’s Firefly universe on Blu-ray is enjoying a nice price cut right now. Amazon has Firefly: The Complete Series on Blu-ray priced at only $38.99 which has vaulted it into the number one hourly sales chart. Serenity, the movie based on Firefly, is only $15.49.
