Online retailer Amazon.com continues the hot summer Blu-ray Disc sales, this time targeting the big box sets most shy away from due to steeper price tags.
Headlining the list of sets on sale is HBO’s True Blood: Season One, a great pickup with season two underway and already up for pre-order. Amazon’s sale price is $45.99 or roughly $7 cheaper than it normally runs.
Another notable title on sale is BBC’s Planet Earth: The Complete Series. This incredible set has been a staple in Amazon’s top 10 Blu-ray bestsellers chart for years and still mesmerizes to this day. In this promotion the set is priced at $42.99, cheaper than it has been for some time.
Other recommended titles in the sale include HBO’s John Adams, Band of Brothers, and any season of Showtime’s Weeds.
