Online retailer Amazon.com has begun taking pre-orders for Univeral’s upcoming Halloween and comedy-themed Blu-ray titles. Additionally, we’ve got high-res cover art to share for four of the six.
First up are the September 30 comedy titles The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up: Unrated and Protected. Each is selling for $26.99 or slightly less than the $29.99 list price.
The Halloween horror titles are also slated for September 30 and include Dawn of the Dead, The Thing and George A. Romero’s Land of the Dead for $26.99 each.
The real “deal” is Universal’s Halloween Starter Pack which includes each of the aforementioned horror titles for $53.99, or only $17.99 a title. They might as well be on clearance sale from the get-go at that price.
