Alvin, Simon and Theodore and joined by a trio of lovely chipettes in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, now confirmed by Fox Home Entertainment to be arriving on Blu-ray Disc and DVD March 30.
The critter-filled sequel made over $400 million at the worldwide box office after opening in theaters just before Christmas. A third entry in the series is likely based on the Squeakquel’s success.
Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel comes to Blu-ray in a three-disc set with the feature film presented in 1.85:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Discs two and three are solely for a DVD and digital copy of the film, respectively.
