By now you’ve spotted a D-BOX logo on the back of a Fox Blu-ray Disc or found it on a disc’s menu. So what is D-BOX exactly, and why is it there?
D-BOX is hard to explain in words without making the technology sound like a bass or butt kicker. Yes, it powers vibrations into a chair, but it does so much more. Think along the lines of a motion ride at an amusement park.
D-BOX has fully embraced Blu-ray Disc films for its motion technology and continues to churn out Motion Code for new titles on a regular basis, including nine this past week. We’ve even heard rumblings of D-BOX Motion Code coming to Xbox 360 and/or Playstation 3 games in the future. A match made in heaven, we think, and keep our fingers crossed this pans out to be true.
