Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment has officially announced Alien vs. Predator: Requiem will be coming to Blu-ray Disc, and we’ve got everything thing you ever wanted to know about the impending release.
Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem will be released April 15 in a two-disc set where the second disc includes a standard definition digital copy of the entire film ala Hitman and Alvin and the Chipmunks. Fox has clearly adopted this practice for all of their new theatrical titles moving forward.

The high definition video presentation of Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem will be in widescreen 1080p video authored in BD-J with AVC (MPEG 4) compression. On the audio side, Fox will include their staple Blu-ray 5.1 DTS HD Lossless Master Audio mix.
Exclusive to Blu-ray is a picture-in-picture reference guide titled the Weyland-Yutani Archives. The remaining special features will appear on both Blu-ray and the standard DVD.
