Disney has officially announced that Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland starring Johnny Depp, Mia Wasikowska and Helena Bonham Carter will make a June 1 debut on Blu-ray Disc and DVD, just under 3 months after its March 2 theatrical launch.
As we previously reported, there will be a single-disc and three-disc edition of Alice in Wonderland on Blu-ray with the other difference being the addition of the DVD edition and digital copy in the three-disc set. A third Blu-ray 3D edition will likely surface sometime in the future after the format formally launches later this year.
Tech specs for Alice in Wonderland on Blu-ray are confirmed to be 1.78:1 1080p video and 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. We have expanded the bonus features previously reported to include descriptions of each featurette.
