Michael Trucco knows a thing or two about leading a resistance against an oppressive force in a reimagined television series. Soon he’ll get a chance for an encore performance.
Trucco played the Caprica resistance fighters leader Anders in Ron Moore’s Battlestar Galactica. It was a role that started small and then blossomed into one of great importance to the show’s lore.
According to TVGuide, Trucco has signed on to appear in an episode of ABC’s V playing resistance leader John May. The alien character, whom has been on Earth before the Visitors arrived and founded the resistance which calls itself the Fifth Column, has been referenced numerous times in the first four episodes with the “yeah, we blew this up” calling card slogan, “John May Lives.”
As in Battlestar, Trucco’s role will start small. He is only currently scheduled to appear in the April 13 episode though more appearances could materialize in the season’s final 8 episodes.
