A.I. Artificial Intelligence Blu-ray Release Date Slides Two Months

This afternoon Paramount pushed back the Blu-ray Disc debut of Steven Spielberg’s A.I. Artificial Intelligence from February 15 to April 5, a nearly two month slide.

Though no reason was given for the change, it is likely Paramount acted in response to Fox and Warner Bros. both announcing the week of April 5 to release Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 and The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, respectively, on Blu-ray and DVD. A.I. is poised to gain more visibility sitting alongside those powerhouses on the “new releases” rack than hitting stores timed with Valentine’s Day.

In case you missed the original announce, A.I. has been remastered for Blu-ray and will include nearly 2 hours of bonus features as detailed below.
