Sony will be releasing the Columbia Pictures 2011 action/comedy 30 Minutes or Less starring Jesse Eisenberg, Danny McBride, Nick Swardson and Aziz Ansari on Blu-ray and DVD on November 29.
30 Minutes or Less opened theatrically on August 12, 2011 to the tune of $13.3 million, good enough for only fifth place its opening weekend. It still managed to top its estimated $28 million production budget with gross ticket sales coming in at $36.7 million.
Sony has yet to formally announce 30 Minutes or Less on home video. The release date comes from Amazon.com where Blu-ray only and Blu-ray/DVD combo pack configurations have popped up for pre-order. The official announcement is likely coming this week or next, and I’ll be sharing all the details and cover art when its made.
