Everything is awesome for the Dark Knight and Man of Steel as evidenced by a pair of familiar posters that The LEGO Group shared today via their Twitter account.
The battle between two of DC Comics’ most popular superheroes won’t hit the big screen until 2016 when Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice makes its debut. When it does, expect a new line of LEGO sets and possibly more to accompany the film’s release.
Our first tease of what The LEGO Group has planned comes in the form of two Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice posters. At first glance they look identical to the individual theatrical posters for Batman (Ben Affleck) and Superman (Henry Cavill). Rather than tout the film, these posters share the tag line, “Building 2016” and the characters have been replaced by their LEGO figure forms.
