Disney has dropped the first Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and made it clear through the selective inclusive dialogue that this sequel is no fairy tale.
Angelina is back as the horned fairy who cursed baby Princess Aurora in the first film. Now new threats lurk in the shadows as Maleficent and the Queen’s (Michelle Pfeiffer) relationship grows increasingly complex and adversarial.
Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is directed by Joachim Rønning from a screenplay by Linda Woolverton, Micah Fitzerman-Blue, and Noah Harpster. Angelina Jolie is serving as one of the film’s producers.
Look for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil in theaters on October 18th.
