Bethesda’s Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus unveiling during their 2017 E3 press conference was the perfect kind of game reveal.
What we’ve seen of the sequel’s narrative appears to successfully carry forward the first game’s torch and expand the alt-history mythology across the Atlantic to North American shores. Better yet, the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus release date is October 27th of this year, not a vague 2018 yearlong window or no date whatsoever.
And of course, how can you not love Liesel?
I can confidently say that Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is my most anticipated Bethesda game right now and one of my top picks in the shooter class. The first entry from the modern series left that kind of impression on me. I simply want more.
Then there’s the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Collector’s Edition that looks like a G.I. Joe figure from the 1960s, packaging and all. It includes a 1/6 scale 12-inch action figure of gritty protagonist William Joseph “BJ” Blazkowicz; six guns; a hatchet; a bomber jacket; a 9″x14″ Blitzmensch poster; and a steelbook case for the game.
You can already pre-order the Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus Collector’s Edition for PS4, Xbox One or PC at Amazon. Nostalgia for the win.
Here’s a rundown of all the other official Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus E3 videos released by Bethesda and Sony since the game was announced at E3 a couple days ago.
