‘The LEGO Ninjago Movie’ Video Game Hinted At in New Lloyd Polybag

The LEGO Ninjago Movie video game

The potential for a new The LEGO Ninjago Movie video game has inched about as close to confirmed as possible thanks to a film-related polybag that recently surfaced in Germany.

LEGO super database website Brickset has published an image of a Kendo Lloyd polybag (30608) from the upcoming The LEGO Ninjago Movie. LEGO toy collectors should be thrilled to see Lloyd Garmadon wearing a kendo-inspired outfit that hearkens back to the early Ninjago toys.

If you look at the bottom-left portion of the bag you’ll notice a code (HTHGT3). Recent LEGO video games, such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, had corresponding polybag figures where that six-character code unlocked the polybag’s character in the game.

Nothing is confirmed at this point but it appears highly likely that The LEGO Ninjago Movie will in fact have a dedicated video game. If rumors of LEGO Dimensions wrapping up this spring are true then it will be a standalone game and not tied into the toys-to-life franchise.

We should get definitive word next month on The LEGO Ninjago Movie video game from E3 one way or the other.
