New exclusive IPs on Sony’s PlayStation 4 console have been a rare sight since the console’s launch last November. Here we are, rapidly approaching a year since its debut, and the hottest new game coming out, The Last of Us Remastered, is a polished up version of a PlayStation 3 game. But what a game it is, and with it’s release date arriving today, Sony has published The Last of Us Remastered launch trailer that you can soak up and enjoy below.
At the time of this article, The Last of Us Remastered is the best selling video game on any console at Amazon.com. And why not considered Sony and Naughty Dog have taken one of the best looking games on PS3 and made it look even better for PS4. Then on top of that, The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 includes all the DLC packs from the pS3 version (a $30 value) as well as a full-length making-of documentary.
Despite the additional content and improvements, The Last of Us Remastered SRP is $49.99 or $10 less than the PS3 version cost when it was released. A replay of this fine game on PS4 is certainly a great way to wrap up the summer.
