Activision’s Skylanders are continuing their run at McDonalds fast food restaurants this year with the introduction of six new toys that officially became available this past Friday. These single-articulation point toy are designed for kids to beat up and play with so their parents don’t cringe every time they play aggressively with a $10+ Toys to Life figure.
Currently representing Skylanders Trap Team at McDonalds are Trap Masters Wallop, Snap Shot and Wildfire; Skylander Food Fight; and villains Wolfgang and Pain Yatta.
Having seen all of these toys in person I predict that Wolfgang is the figure kids will be after most. He’ll go great with the Kaos McDonalds toy from a couple years back.
You can grab these Skylanders toys at McDonalds now, though remember they’re strictly toys and aren’t compatible with Skylanders Trap Team the game. Each also comes with $1 off a Skylander figure in stores, $10 off a Starter Pack, and free access to a new Skylanders mini-game via the McDonald’s McPlay app.
