Sharpen those digital pencils, Pokemon aficionados and budding artists. Nintendo has set the Pokemon Art Academy release date on 3DS for Friday, October 24.
Pokemon Art Academy is a 2D instructional game that teaches artists of all ages and skills to draw their favorite Pokemon on 3DS using a stylus. A wide array of tools and styles are introduced, from markers to colored pencils, and shading to blending. It’s a learn-to-draw game that promises to have its players drawing Pokemon creatures of all ilk after putting in a respectable amount of playing time.
Progression through the game’s art lessons will unlock special tasks such as drawing Mega-Evolved Pokemon. All artistic creations can be saved in a Miiverse gallery or on an SD card for printing off of a computer.
Pokemon Art Academy 3DS will be available to purchase in stores or via download from the Nintendo eShop. It will cost around $30 depending on where it is purchased from.
