While future Sony adopters are scouring the Internet for PS4 Black Friday deals, Sony continues to take care of current owners by dishing out monthly collections of free games for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Like clockwork and just ahead of the holiday break, Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus December 2014 free games list for PS4 and PS3 that includes some solid titles worth checking out if you haven’t already.
The big free PS4 coup is Injustice: Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition, a DC Comics-based fighting game from the makers of Mortal Kombat. If you love violent fighting and the likes of Superman and Batman duking it out then this game should be at the top of your list to die a toe into.
Speaking of popular titles, Hitman Trilogy HD will be free for PS3 owners. We’re talking one sweet package that includes the remastered versions of Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, Hitman: Contracts and Hitman: Blood Money. That’s a lot of additional play time at your fingertips without having to drop an extra dime.
PS3 owners will also gain access to Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut. This stylistic thriller in its new remastered edition for PS3 won’t be for everyone, but it’s at least worth a look.
Anyone who is hanging on to their PS Vita will get a shot at Final Horizon, a tower defense game that plays fast and furiously. It’s definitely designed for quick sessions on the go.
Last but not least is Titan Attacks! for PS4, PS3 and PS Vita. This throwback to the classic arcade shooters is widely regarded and is guaranteed to suck you into its seemingly simply mechanics that are anything but to truly master.
