Supergirl’s inclusion in LEGO Dimensions was first hinted at this past spring when a lone in-game picture of her surfaced. It took nearly half a year for Warner Bros. Interactive to finally unveil her, and not that they have there’s going to be a lot of angry LEGO Dimensions adopters out there who want to own her.
Per the official announcement made in conjunction with Gamescom 2016, the Supergirl LEGO Dimensions figure will be sold exclusively with the PlayStation 4 Starter Pack beginning in late September. The actual release date will likely be September 27th when the first LEGO Dimensions 2017 product arrives in stores.
If you already own the PS4 LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack like I do then you’re out of luck on completing the series. The only option will be to purchase Supergirl off the secondary market or pony up for a second full game.
A positive in this announcement is that Supergirl will be available as a “Hire-a-Hero” playable character in the game at a future date.
