Brainiac is the Justice League’s nemesis du jour in Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and he’s such a big deal, or make that has a big head, that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment gave the alien villain his own trailer.
Though Brainiac is the trailer’s namesake and he’s up to no good in it with the reveal of his diabolical plan involving Lantern Corps rings and a super shrink weapon, there’s other nuggets of goodness awaiting you after seeing the trailer through to the end. Within it you will find several new Lantern Corps members now confirmed as playable characters, along with other more obscure DC Comics superheroes that only comic book readers will recognize. Some new playable worlds are also visited for a scant moment, and the Joker busts out in song and dance as only the object of Harley Quinn’s affections can.
Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is headed to Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, Wii U, 3DS, and PS Vita this fall. The Amazon.com release date states November 28, but no formal date has been announced as of yet.
