Fallout 76 may still be two weeks away, but Bethesda has been amping up the press for the highly anticipated release. Today, the storied developer released a new live-action trailer for the open world online game, and announced new dates and times for the next B.E.T.A. test.
Fallout 76 will allow players to play together online as they scour the post-nuclear landscape to make a new life for themselves, and much like the wonderful The Elder Scrolls Online took that series to new heights, Bethesda hopes for the same for the iconic Fallout franchise.
This is the most detailed open world game in Bethesda’s history, and fans old and new can’t wait to get their hands on this most-anticipated game. A new description of the game was released today that encapsulates what gamers can expect when Fallout 76 launches on November 14, 2018.
“Reclamation Day, 2102. Twenty-five years after the bombs fall, you and your fellow vault dwellers — chosen from the nation’s best and brightest — emerge into post-nuclear America. Play solo or join together as you explore, quest, build, and triumph against the wasteland’s greatest threats.”
The new live action Fallout 76 trailer further works to drive the anticipation, while also showing players what to expect.
In addition to the new trailer, another B.E.T.A. is scheduled for Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 30 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET. This beta session joins last week’s Xbox One only beta, and serves to help Bethesda make sure Fallout 76 is the best it can be before the November 14th launch day. You can snag a B.E.T.A. invite by pre-ordering the game right now. Additional beta tests will be held in the coming days, so if you miss this admittedly small window to try out the game, there will be more chances.
Fallout 76 releases on November 14 for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC. Stay tuned for some B.E.T.A. impressions in the coming days.
