Ahead of it’s Friday launch Bethesda and Tango Gameworks have dropped a launch trailer for The Evil Within 2. The horror sequel again focuses on Sebastian Castellanos on his journey to locate his daughter inside STEM. Thinking he had lost her many years ago, Sebastian must rescue Lily before the world crumbles around him and they are both lost inside the hive mind of STEM together.
The trailer heavily showcases a lot of the supernatural and paranormal aspects of the upcoming horror title, and also shows off a handful of the new monsters that players can expect to take on. Of course, there aren’t just monsters to worry about, and the human enemies may be the most deranged of all. Two main antagonists, Stefano and Theodore are also inside STEM, warping and bending the nightmarish world to their will.
Developed by horror legend Shinji Mikami (Resident Evil,) The Evil Within 2 is the follow to to 2014’s The Evil Within. Check out the twisted launch trailer below, and be sure to check back shortly after launch for THDR’s full review of The Evil Within 2.
