If European retail leaks are to be believed, and history tells us they’re right far more often than not, then Star Wars Rebels characters will be coming to Disney Infinity 3.0 in playable figure form.
The Disney Infinity 3.0 leaked first popped up on Instragram from what I can tell. Screengrabs from two separate German retail sites list four Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Rebels characters that until today were previously unknown. They include Kanan Jarrus, Sabrine Wren, Ezra Bridger, and Orrelios.
Rebels fans will immediately recognize that this quartet of characters is missing the fifth member of the Rebels crew and the Ghost ship’s pilot, Hera. It’s unknown at this time if a figure of Hera is in the works or if there were four figure slots and Hera drew the short popularity straw. As of today she did not appear in either of the German retailer listings.
There’s also the possibility that Star Wars Rebels will get its own Play Set and Hera will be packaged in it along with another figure, perhaps The Inquisitor. To date a villain figure has yet to be packaged with any Disney Infinity Play Sets.
The second season of Star Wars Rebels is set to premiere in roughly a month on Disney XD. The remaining episodes are coming this fall, and around the time those episodes land is when I would expect the Star Wars Rebels Disney Infinity 3.0 characters to arrive in stores.
