Disney Interactive was true to their word early Thursday and revealed Captain America will be joining the Disney Infinity 3.0 figure list in March 2016. Not just any Captain America, either. This second iteration of the character to get the Disney Infinity figure treatment is modeled with the likeness of Chris Evans from the upcoming Captain America: Civil War movie.
Captain America is expected to be packaged with the Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set developed by United Front Games, along with another to-be-announced character. We could also get more characters from Captain America: Civil War considering how huge a movie it is, but likely won’t find out about them for several weeks or into early 2016.
The logical choice to package with Captain America is Bucky Barnes aka the Winter Soldier. We’re still waiting for Ant-Man who was teased already for Disney Infinity 3.0, and I wouldn’t rule out Scarlett Witch or Vision, either.

Ultron and Hulkbuster, who were previously announced, will be available next month and compatible with the Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set as well as every previously released Marvel Disney Infinity figure.
Speaking of the Disney Infinity 3.0 Marvel Battlegrounds Play Set, here’s the newly released official synopsis that sets up the four-player brawler’s story.
In the original storyline, Ultron teams up with Loki in an effort to steal Asgard’s immensely powerful Infinity Stone. To accomplish this, Ultron and Loki create robotic replicas of the famed Marvel Super Heroes and turn them against each other in an effort to distract them while they commit their crime. The Marvel Super Heroes duplicates battle each other in iconic environments such as a wrecked Brooklyn train yard, Wakanda and S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Lunar Base, culminating in a universe-shaking battle against Ultron.
