Want to play Battlefield Hardline first before your buddies can? EA Access members on Xbox One are in for a real treat two weeks from today as the Battlefield Hardline trial will be available to them exclusively starting on March 12, 2015. Everyone else will have to wait to play Battlefield Hardline until the full game is released five days later on March 17.
The Battlefield Hardline trial on EA Access and Xbox One will allow players to dig into campaign and multiplayer modes for up to 10 total hours of gameplay time. All the multiplayer maps and modes are included, while the campaign is restricted to the prologue and first chapter.
EA wants everyone to know that this early access is not a demo. Apart from the limited campaign it’s a full blown early trial run through the majority of the game. As such, all progress in single and multiplayer modes will carry forward into the full retail version.
The final kicker for EA Access members with Xbox One is a 10% savings when purchasing Battlefield Hardline for Xbox One. In case you’re an Xbox One owner and are tempted by this offer, EA Access runs $4.99 a month.
