Paul Rudd stars in the based-on-a-true story thriller The Catcher Who Was a Spy, coming to DVD on October 2nd from Paramount Home Entertainment.
As the film’s name implies, Rudd plays a former professional baseball player who became a spy during World War II.
Unlike Rudd’s most famous roles where he usually plays a goofball of some sort, Rudd puts in a purely dramatic performance that shows his range as an actor. Rudd’s portrayal of Moe Berg combined with the incredible story is not to be missed.
