Writer/director Nancy Meyers’ The Intern starring Anne Hathaway and Robert De Niro is an ode to the lighthearted comedies of the 1940s and 1950s. It avoids the common tropes you might expect from an older gentleman returning to the workforce where he is befriended by a much younger, career-focused woman who happens to be the boss. As a result it was a critical and commercial hit this past year.
With The Intern making its Blu-ray, DVD and Digital debut on Tuesday, January 19, we have teamed up with Warner Home Video to offer three lucky readers each a copy of The Intern on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital combo pack. For a chance to win one, please fill out and submit the short entry form below. The odds of winning can be increased each and every day you stop back to enter for as many days as the contest is open.
You must be a resident of the U.S. or Canada to enter.
Starting a new job can be a difficult challenge, especially if you’re already retired. Looking to get back into the game, 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker (Robert De Niro) seizes the opportunity to become a senior intern at an online fashion site. Ben soon becomes popular with his younger co-workers, including Jules Ostin (Anne Hathaway), the boss and founder of the company. Whittaker’s charm, wisdom and sense of humor help him develop a special bond and growing friendship with Jules.
