The 1989 theatrical adaptation of author Stephen King’s Pet Cematary will make its Blu-ray debut on October 2. It’s a wonderfully creepy adaptation that captures the mood and terror of King’s book, and a lot of that is due to King handling the screenplay of his own novel. Pet Cematary is as much a Stephen King film as you could hope for.
To coincide with the debut of Pet Cematary on Blu-ray, we are awarding a copy to three lucky readers in this contest. For a chance to become one of them, please fill out and submit the entry form below. Optionally, you can stop back any or every day the contest is open to enter again and increase the odds of winning with each additional entry. After moving to an idyllic home in the countryside, life seems perfect for the Creed family… but not for long. Louis and Rachel Creed and their two young children settle in to a house that sits next door to a pet cemetery – built on an ancient Indian burial ground. Their mysterious new neighbor, Jud Crandall (Fred Gwynne), hides the cemetery’s darkest secret… until a family tragedy brings the secret to life. Now, an unthinkable evil is about to be resurrected. From STEPHEN KING, the Master of the Macabre, comes a journey that leads to hell and back. Though not everyone survives the trip. For the Creeds, home is where the horror is.
