Steve McQueen’s Shame did not earn star Michael Fassbender (Prometheus) an Academy Award nomination for his portrayal as a troubled sex addict, one of the biggest snubs of this past Oscar season. Because Shame wasn’t nominated, it didn’t get the publicity push as nominated films did. I’m guessing many of you haven’t seen it yet, which is a “shame.”
On April 17, Shame will make its Blu-ray and DVD debut from Fox Home Entertainment, offering up an opportunity to see what all the fuss has been about in the comfort of your own home. Thanks to Fox, I am going to award two readers a copy of the Blu-ray and DVD Shame combo pack in this contest.
For a chance to win Shame, please fill out and submit the entry form below. The odds of winning can be increased each day you stop back to enter for as many days as the contest is open. In this case, not many. You must be a resident of the United States or Canada to enter.
Brandon (Michael Fassbender) is a New Yorker who shuns intimacy with women but feeds his desires with a compulsive addiction to sex. When his wayward younger sister (Carey Mulligan) moves into his apartment stirring memories of their shared painful past, Brandon’s insular life spirals out of control.
