Angelina Jolie’s WWII drama Unbroken recounts the true story Louis “Louie” Zamperini (Jack O’Connell), a 1936 Olympian who became a Japanese prisoner of war in the Pacific campaign after surviving in a raft for 47 days. Zamperini relied upon the sheer will and determination that transformed him from a juvenile delinquent into a world class runner in order to survive both the elements and brutal condition at the camp.
Unbroken is nominated for three Academy Awards: Cinematography, Sound Editing and Sound Mixing. You’ll get a first shot at watching Unbroken at home when the film makes its Digital HD debut on March 10, followed by a Blu-ray and DVD bow on March 24.
