Can Tyler Perry score another unexpected hit or will Kate Beckinsale pull the bigger draw in the horror thriller Whiteout?
The third week of our Weekend Box Office Prophet game sees four new films try to supplant the incumbent leader from the past two weeks, The Final Destination.
Shane Acker’s 9 will have a two-day head start over Tyler Perry’s I Can Do Bad All By Myself, the girl power horror thriller Sorority Row and aforementioned Whiteout. Horror has fared relatively well the past few weeks but this week’s two new entries lack the brand awareness Halloween and Final Destination carried with them.
Once your predictions are entered you are encouraged to return to this page often between now and Friday evening to follow your best guesses versus those of the Prophet (me) and the cumulative average of the other players that update in real time. Next Monday evening the final results will be published (view the weekly and cumulative leaderboards here) with week four’s game launching the following morning.
