Universal’s Fast Five starring Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson will win this weekend at the box office. No doubt about it. The only question is how fast can it soar past the box office returns of 2009’s Fast and Furious.
In this new round of our Weekend Box Office Prophet Game, you are tasked with prediction what Fast Five and its fellow newcomers Prom, Dylan Dog: Dead of Night with Brandon Routh, and Hoodwinked Too! Hood vs. Evil, along with holdover Rio, will make in ticket sales at the North American box office this weekend. Your score will be averaged in with the other player scores to go up against The Prophet with the winner being decided by whichever side wins 3 or more of the films.
If the players win then the prize jackpot will be awarded to the top player finisher for this round. In the last round, The Prophet took 3 of 5 and iced the cake by finishing top overall. Since the price jackpot of Jackass 3, The Fighter and Morning Glory on Blu-ray has been stagnant for weeks, I’m going to add Predator: Ultimate Hunter Edition on Blu-ray to the mix in hopes the players will pick up their game and knock off The Prophet.
