Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides sails into the domestic box office this weekend as the only new wide release. Other studios knew better than to go up against the Disney juggernaut with Johnny Depp at the helm. Thor, Bridesmaids, Fast Five and Priest all have their fingers crossed that the Pirates don’t completely pillage their weekend returns.
In this new installment of our Weekend Box Office Prophet Game, you are tasked with predicting what Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides and the four holdover films will make in theaters this weekend between Friday, May 20 and Sunday, May 22. Your prediction will be averaged in with the other players to go against The Prophet’s. Three or more films won by the players will result in the top player finisher taking home the Blu-ray prize pot. The Prophet winning three or more means the pot rolls into the next round and is added to.
