Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 will cast a magnificent spell on the box office this weekend and earn tens of million of dollars. There will be no stopping Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint on their way to a huge opening.
In this latest round of the Box Office Prophet game, you get to predict what Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as well as Lionsgate’s new thriller The Next Three Days and holdovers Megamind, Unstoppable and Due Date will all make in ticket sales between Friday, November 19 and Sunday, November 21. This period includes the Thursday midnight showings that Harry Potter will make several million off of.
In the last round of our game the Prophet predictions beat the average player predictions for four of the five eligible films so the prize was not won. We also came up 7 players shy of 50 so no new prize is added to the pot this week. I’ll make it a little easier this time; equal or top 45 players this week and a new prize will be added next week.
