‘Wonder Woman’ 4K, 3D and Blu-ray Pre-Orders Live at Amazon; No Release Date Yet (Updated)

Wonder Woman 4K

Patty Jenkins’ Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot and Chris Pine lit up the North American box office its opening weekend with an estimated $100.5 million in ticket sales. International business pushes that total into the $223 million range.

Warner Bros. has a big hit on their hands and decided to strike while the iron is hot by listing the Wonder Woman 4K UHD, Blu-ray and Digital, and the Wonder Woman Blu-ray, DVD and Digital combo packs for pre-order at Amazon.com.

Update: Amazon has listed a Wonder Woman Blu-ray 3D combo pack for pre-order as well.

It’s important to note that for reasons unknown the pricing on both high definition versions of Wonder Woman at Amazon have not yet been lowered from their SRP. Locking in a pre-order now means that when the SRP drops prior to its release date — and it will — your pre-order purchase price will automatically adjust down.

As for the Wonder Woman 4K, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital release dates, we’ll likely hear that official announcement sometime around Comic-Con next month. A best guess would put the Wonder Woman release date around the first or second week of September.

In the meantime let’s see how far Wonder Woman can climb up Amazon’s Blu-ray bestsellers chart considering its enormous popularity on opening weekend. At the time of this article it’s currently not in the Top 20.
