1986 ‘Transformers: The Movie’ Gets August 4K Release via Shout! Factory

Few movies capture the 1980’s in a way that Tranformers: The Movie did in 1986. This year marks the animation feature film’s 35th anniversary, an event Shout! Factory is using to debut the film on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time.

Mark August 3rd, 2021 on your calendar as that is the date Tranformers: The Movie will make its 4K debut. It features a new 4K transfer and restoration from the original 35mm film elements with HDR, Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
