It looks like Taika Waititi’s Thor: Ragnarok is all but confirmed to be the second Marvel Cinematic Universe film to be release on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray following last fall’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2.
The scoop comes from Amazon’s United Kingdom website where an active pre-order listing for the Thor: Ragnarok 4K and Blu-ray combo pack is live. There’s no release date yet and the earliest we would expect to see it on store shelves is in mid-to-late February given the three-month theatrical-to-home video window.
The U.S. Amazon website continues to withhold Disney, Marvel and Pixar titles from pre-order status so don’t expect Thor: Ragnarok to appear for purchase until its release date.
