It’s no secret that Season 9 of AMC’s The Walking Dead is the final season with Rick Grimes appearing on the flagship series. On the same day that issue #193 of The Walking Dead comic hits newsstands — the final issue — we’re letting you know when Season 9 will arrive on home video.
The official release date for The Walking Dead Season 9 on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital from Lionsgate Home Entertainment is August 20th. New seasons always drop on home video in August as Season 8 and all prior seasons confirm.
Headlining the large Season 9 cast are Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Lauren Cohan, Danai Gurira, Jeffrey Dean Morgan, and Samantha Morton.
