Anchor Bay Home Entertainment wasted little time in announcing The Walking Dead: Season 5 Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD release date. In fact, August 25 date was revealed less than 24 hours after the Season 5 finale premiered on AMC TV.
Given the extremely early release date announcement there’s little additional information about the set to share at this time. What I would expect are standard and limited edition versions as with prior seasons, with the limited editions including stellar walker-inspired packaging designed by McFarlane Toys.
From Terminus to Alexandra, circle August 25 on your calendar for the day that The Walking Dead: Season 5 will make its home video debut. Who knows? We could and should be gearing up for the series premiere of Fear The Walking Dead on AMC around the same time.
