‘The Ring Collection’ Coming to 4K UHD with Dolby Vision in March

Scream Factory have unveiled the bonus features and technical details for The Ring Collection on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, which had been previously given a March 19th, 2024 release date. This box set featuring The Ring, The Ring 2, and Rings is available to pre-order at Amazon for a discounted price.

The theatrical cuts of Rings and The Ring Two in The Ring Collection have been given new 4K transfers from the original camera negative in Dolby Vision, supervised by director Gore Verbinski. Rings is listed as having simply “a new 4K master in Dolby Vision.” These new transfers were also used for the included Blu-ray 1080p versions of each film. Note that The Ring Two will also include the unrated version on Blu-ray only.

The 4K and Blu-ray versions of each film support 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. Here is  breakdown of bonus features found on each film’s Blu-ray, by movie.
