Today Warner Bros. Home Entertainment released Brad Bird’s heartfelt The Iron Giant: Signature Edition on Digital HD available now at online shops to stream immediately such as Amazon (right here), iTunes, PlayStation, Google Play, Xbox and others. The film just wrapped up a short theatrical Fathom Events screening this past week.
A Blu-ray edition of The Iron Giant: Signature Edition is currently being prepared for a 2016 release date. We will pass along additional updates including the precise release date when it’s available.
The Iron Giant was the directorial debut for Brad Bird who went on to direct hits such as The Incredibles, Ratatouille, and soon The Incredibles 2. It stars the voice talent of Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick Jr., and a much younger and then-lesser known Vin Diesel.
For the Signature Edition of the film, the audio and video elements were completely remastered and two additional scenes were added to the film.
