Lionsgate Home Entertainment (via EW) the home video release dates for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 starring Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD.
Fans of the dystopian franchise’s final chapter will naturally get their first shot at watching The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 at home with the Digital HD release, set for March 8th. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 Blu-ray and DVD release date lands two weeks later on March 22nd.
Piggybacking off the final film’s release is The Hunger Games Complete 4-Film Collection with identical Digital, Blu-ray and DVD release dates as Mockingjay – Part 2. Owners of the first three film’s releases on disc or digital formats will be none-to-pleased to learn that the 4-Film Collection will include — at minimum — 13 never-before-seen deleted scenes exclusive to the set.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 and 4-Film Collection complete details and cover art should arrive within the next 24 hours or so. EW’s exclusive announcement does confirm a sample of the bonus features will include an audio commentary from director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson, and a detailed look at Cinna’s sketchbook.
