It’s no secret that director Richard Donner’s adventure classic The Goonies is coming to 4K Ultra HD later this year. In fact, it was tentatively planned for an early summer release before COVID-19 squashed those plans.
Now we know that Goonies 4K is likely to be delivered on a probable September 1st release date per a new listing at Amazon.com. Per that listing the online retailer has nabbed themselves an exclusive giftset chock full of The Goonies goodies any fan would love to own.
Amazon doesn’t have a product description up for this exclusive The Goonies 4K Giftset just yet. However, we can tell from the image that it includes a treasure chest-themed special edition gift box, One-Eyed Willie treasure map reproduction suitable for framing, embroidered patch, collectible buttons, and of course the film in 4K with an inclusive Blu-ray and Digital copy.
