Scott Derrickson’s new horror flick The Black Phone has crossed $72 million at the domestic box office and continues to rise despite being available on VOD as of this past Friday. It will next be coming to Blu-ray and DVD, and you can put in your pre-order early at Amazon.

Sadly a 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray edition of The Black Phone doesn’t appear to be in the cards at this time. This could change if the film continues to outperform and build a bigger fan base.
Early October is looking like a good bet for The Black Phone Blu-ray and DVD release date to land. The actual date, along with bonus features, will be shared once it has been made available.
