Now that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot from director Jonathan Liebesman and producer Michael Bay is almost done slicing and dicing its way through the summer box office with a sequel already in the works, Paramount Home Entertainment has served up the 2014 film’s Digital, Blu-ray and DVD release dates that follow a similar pattern as Fox’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Digital release date is set for November 25, just in time for the Thanksgiving break. Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, DVD and VOD editions of the film starring Megan Fox and Will Arnett won’t be available to own until three weeks later on December 16.
Among the many unannounced bonus features is an extended ending, the music video and making-of featurette for the theme song ‘Shell Shocked,’ and more to come. Additionally, a limited number of specially marked packages will include a pair of two-sided turtle masks so all four turtles are represented.
Paramount is also offering offer a Raphael Gift Set that you can check out at Amazon, but it will require $80 to take home on its December 16 release date.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray and Digital will be presented in 1080p video and the new 7.1 Dolby Atmos audio, the second title from Paramount to support this audio format following Transformers: Age of Extinction.
More Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Blu-ray 3D, Blu-ray, Digital and DVD details as well as the finalized cover art (what’s on Amazon likely isn’t final) will be shared as soon as they are available to us.
