Warner Home Video has officially announced the Suicide Squad Extended Cut starring Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman and Viola Davis is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD later this year.
Suicide Squad stuck around in theaters longer than anyone anticipated and as a result it will be over four months from the theatrical release to the December 13th release date for all physical disc versions. A Suicide Squad Digital HD version will drop a month earlier on November 15th.
The Suicide Squad Extended Cut adds an additional 13 minute of footage that pushes the run-time up to 136 minutes. The DVD edition is the only format that will not include the additional footage.
What we don’t know right now are the Suicide Squad Extended Cut bonus features. We do get a sneak peek at the extra footage as well as the Blu-ray cover art, both ready for you to check out below.
