With Star Trek: Picard Season 3 premiering just last week, now seems like the perfect time for Paramount Home Entertainment to formally announce the Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on a confirmed April 4th, 2023 release date. That happens to be one day before “First Contact Day” on April 5th, the day Vulcans first made contact with humans.
Pre-order the Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection in 4K at Amazon.
This collection includes Star Trek: Generations, Star Trek: First Contact, Star Trek: Insurrection, and Star Trek: Nemesis — all making their 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray debuts.
On the technical front, each film has been remastered in 4K with Dolby Vision and HDR-10, and the remastered transfer will also be included on a separate Blu-ray and Digital Copy, along with all the legacy bonus features.
The slipcase has been illustrated to complement the previously released Star Trek: The Original 6-Movie Collection.
Here’s a recap of all the legacy extras packed into the Star Trek: The Next Generation 4-Movie Collection.
