Jan de Bont’s ‘Speed’ Coming to 4K Blu-ray in May (Updated)

Jan de Bont’s 1994 thriller Speed starring Keanu Reeves, Sandra Bullock and Dennis Hopper is coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray for the first time as an Ultimate Collector’s Edition on May 4th.

Additionally a Steelbook packaged version will be exclusive to Best Buy on the same date.

Speed is a Fox film and further evidence that Disney is willing to dip in their recently acquired Fox catalog for 4K home video releases. Expect more Fox 4K titles to be announced via Disney in the future.
