‘So I Married an Axe Murderer’ Coming to 4K Blu-ray in July

This year marks the 30th anniversary for So I Married an Axe Murderer starring Mike Myers and Nancy Travis. Though you may not have seen it coming, Sony has remastered the film in 4K to mark the occasion, and will bring it to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on July 25th.

The new So I Married an Axe Murderer 4K transfer was scanned from the original camera negative and will feature Dolby Vision HDR.

An all-new Dolby Atmos audio mix will compliment the 4K presentation, with 5.1 and 2-channel surround options also available to choose from.

A surprise addition is roughly 30 minutes of never-before-seen deleted scenes. They will be joined by at least two theatrical trailers that round out the bonus features selection.

So I Married an Axe Murderer is directed by Thomas Schlamme and also stars Anthony LaPaglia, Amanda Plummer, and Brenda Fricker.
